Pam & PJ opened the red door
in July of 2006 bring a new diversity to downtown Sonora. Our goal
was to combine local artist’s talents and provide access to
furniture, antiques, home accessories and a full service interior
design center. We wanted a place that makes you smile and enjoy life.
PJ’s interest in design stems from a background
in art in England and a degree in Interior Design. Having lived and
worked in the bay area for more than fifteen years has provided her
an opportunity to assist in residential & commercial design with
a variety of budgets, gaining life long friendships in the process.
Pam’s admiration for people
who craft with their hands inspired her towards a degree in art at
Fresno State. Moving to the area in 1986 has created a more independent
and hands on lifestyle. She is not afraid to tackle home projects
and is often found wearing her dad’s old leather tool belt with
hammer in hand.
Be sure when you visit our store
that you take a minute to enjoy our mystery mural. This nineteenth
century hand painted mural was discovered during renovations.
